Best all-inclusive resorts in Florida

There is not a huge selection in Florida so we ventured out just a bit to bring you the best all-inclusive resorts in Florida.

Little Palm Island Resort & Spa

This is at the top of the list for best all-inclusive resorts in Florida. Little Palm Island is a private island getaway tucked between Key West and the Florida mainland. Even though the island is private, boaters are more that welcome to dock up and visit the pool and bar area. Little Palm Island has crystal blue waters matched with nice relaxing environment. BE WARNED this is one of the more pricier vacations but is well worth it according to the reviewers.

There are 28 bungalows to choose from and they are tucked away all over the resort. 70% of the reviews on trip advisor for Little Palm were five stars. This resort specializes in seclusion, so if you are looking for fun during the day and alone time at night, the bungalows might be a perfect choice for you. There is also a marine and wildlife sanctuary available for guests to tour. The activities include but are not limited to: fishing of all kinds, diving /snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, and much more. The food and wine received great reviews across the board and the staff will serve you anywhere on the island….If you want to have your dinner on the beach they can make it happen.

South Sea Island Resort, Captiva Florida

The South Sea Island resort is definitely a vacation the whole family can enjoy– it was ranked in the top 10 family vacations of parent magazine!!!  The whole resort is geared towards relaxation and adventure. When you arrive here you will see that the island lies on the gulf side of Florida and has 330 acres to explore. The beaches that encompass the island totals 2 1/2 miles, so you should not have a problem finding a private place to take your family.

The accommodations are anything you want them to be. If you want just a guest room they have it, if you want a cottage they have it, and if you want a home they have that as well. The majority of the accommodations either face the ocean or they are surrounded by the forest. There are plenty of places to eat, shop, hangout, and swim. This location does have a family waterpark and for the more laid-back person there is the Pine Island sound pool. There are programs for kids of all ages, so no one will feel left out.

Club Med Florida

There is no guessing why we chose this for the best all-inclusive resorts in Florida list. This particular Club Med is the Sandpiper location tucked away in the Sandpiper Bay of Florida. Club Med is known for its modern style, luxury, upscale accommodations, and plentiful activities. The accommodations all are split between seven two-story buildings with elevators. Now the Club Med Sandpiper location is not a beach resort but it does have white sandy beaches and it is just located on the St. Louis River. Sandpiper Bay is less than an hour from Palm Beach and only two hours from Disney World. They also offer trips to the Kennedy space Center and Disney World.

After a full renovation of the resort, Florida’s Sandpiper Club Med had a grand reopening in December 2010 and is better than ever. Renovations included several new restaurants, swimming pools (with their adults only infinity pool and lap pool), and interior remodeling throughout the resort. Club Med Sandpiper also has fitness and golf academies for all ages. The golf course here is beautiful and is one of the landmarks of the Club Med Sandpiper location. There are over 216 acres for you to explore with tons of activities. One reviewer wrote “Also would like to thank the kitchen staff for an awesome and VERY accommodating experience. And of course Sun (the restaurant GO), whom was always courteous and enjoyable.”

Kid pool area

  • Club Med resort is very kid friendly

This resort is also a four diamond award winner from AAA. The beach at this resort does have white sand and clear turquoise water. Just a few minutes away you can find scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, and para-sailing. You do have to drive to this resort, however it is only 150 miles from the Miami international airport. This resort received 4.5 stars from many different websites.
