Best all-inclusive resorts in Florida

There is not a huge selection in Florida so we ventured out just a bit to bring you the best all-inclusive resorts in Florida.

Beaches Turks & Caicos

Who should choose this vacation? This is at the top of the list for best all-inclusive resorts in Florida. The adventurer, singles, couples and honeymooners will definitely enjoy this all-inclusive resort! This resort has 40 islands to discover in this wonderful chain and only 8 of them are inhabited by humans. This location also has relaxing views and nice beaches, however you can get that at pretty much any all-inclusive resort. If you are looking for adventure, this is the place for you. This resort tries to accommodate for a family vacation but all the reviews say otherwise. Only bring kids if they are able to venture out on their own.

Activities: The activities are what you would typically find at a beach resort location: jet skiing, scuba, night clubs, surfing, fishing, kayaking, golf, spas, and island tours. This obviously doesn’t cover them all but covers some of the more exciting things to do. As far as diving goes, the waters off the island chain claims 1,000 square miles of reefs and some of the most extraordinary walls of coral in the Caribbean.  Also there are historic wrecks dated among the oldest in the Western Hemisphere for your enjoyment. Between December and April, you stand an excellent chance of getting a glimpse of a Humpback Whale. The night life has a variety for all ages from kids’ sesame street shows to teens hang-outs at liquid beach.  Adults have live Caribbean bands and beach bars……. and don’t forget the island hopping for the adventurer in you.

Service: This location has high ratings on everything, typically five stars for the food, service, entertainment, and cleanliness.  The business service was a three star on all the ratings.

Dining: 16 restaurants offer culinary varieties for virtually all palates. They have everything from buffets to white glove dining. The reviews were typically four stars out of five.  For breakfast the top choice was Mario’s and for dinner Sapodilla’s.

Club Med Florida

There is no guessing why we chose this for the best all-inclusive resorts in Florida list. This particular Club Med is the Sandpiper location tucked away in the Sandpiper Bay of Florida. Club Med is known for its modern style, luxury, upscale accommodations, and plentiful activities. The accommodations all are split between seven two-story buildings with elevators. Now the Club Med Sandpiper location is not a beach resort but it does have white sandy beaches and it is just located on the St. Louis River. Sandpiper Bay is less than an hour from Palm Beach and only two hours from Disney World. They also offer trips to the Kennedy space Center and Disney World.

After a full renovation of the resort, Florida’s Sandpiper Club Med had a grand reopening in December 2010 and is better than ever. Renovations included several new restaurants, swimming pools (with their adults only infinity pool and lap pool), and interior remodeling throughout the resort. Club Med Sandpiper also has fitness and golf academies for all ages. The golf course here is beautiful and is one of the landmarks of the Club Med Sandpiper location. There are over 216 acres for you to explore with tons of activities. One reviewer wrote “Also would like to thank the kitchen staff for an awesome and VERY accommodating experience. And of course Sun (the restaurant GO), whom was always courteous and enjoyable.”

The best all-inclusive resorts in the Bahamas

Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas

Atlantis is one of the best all-inclusive resorts in the Bahamas, if not the best all-inclusive resort in the Bahamas!!!

Who should choose this vacation? Everyone! This small island has everything and anything your heart desires. It is geared for kids, families, friends, couples, and adventurers. Atlantis all-inclusive resort is the Disneyland of the ocean. It has 5 resorts posted on all corners of the island and one in the center (Royal Towers). So if you want to be center to all the action, you can. If you want an ocean front view, you can have that too. We will say that this is the most action packed resort that we have found. The only thing that comes close is its sister resort in Dubai. Atlantis also has a very relaxing side to it as well, but not quite as relaxing as some of the other resorts we have mentioned. In addition to the breath-taking visuals all over the island, this resort focuses on the ambience that surrounds its guests.

Activities: Where to begin… Atlantis has a water park that will impress any engineer. There are water slides that venture under a large aquarium, river rides with a lazy river that is not so lazy, and over 11 pools all with a different design.  Don’t worry the adults have their own pool as well. Dolphin Cay is where you can swim with the Dolphins. Marine Habitats with 13 adventures for you to explore will rival Sea World on its best day. In addition to the water park, many activities are available including: golfing, spas, fitness centers, tennis courts, shopping, pottery, gamer’s reef, a kids paradise, yacht and fishing charters, live entertainment (located all over the island), movie theater, and even a library for your beach reading enjoyment.

Service: We will say the service falls just a bit at these larger resorts but not by much. Atlantis received a 4.2 star rating overall and the service received an average of 3.8 stars alone. This is something to expect at a massive resort. The accommodations were rated 4 stars on average.
